Marking the begining of the holiday season, Ocean City's annual Winterfest of Lights begins tomorrow, November 15th. Located at Northside Park on 125th Street Bayside, the event will be open from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
On opening night, OC Elementry School "OC Stars" will preform various festive dance and song numbers for the grand opening ceremony. A surprise visit by Santa will cap off the night, along with a free train ride for all those attending.
At the Winterfest Village, located inside a festively decorated heated tent, visitors will be able to browse the Yukon Cornelius Gift Shop, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and take the 10 minute train ride around the display of thousands of Holiday Lights. Santa will also be availible for family pictures until December 23rd.
Come and be dazzled by the festive lights and prepare for the most wonderful time of the year! Admission is $5 ages 12+ and free for all those under 12.

Monday morning doesn't seem so miserable on this unseasonably warm and sunny November day in Ocean City Maryland. Here on 76th street at Atlantic Shores Realty, we are enjoying temperatures in the low 60's and a 14 mph steady breeze. It's a stark contrast to what we saw two weeks ago when Hurricane Sandy made landfall on the East Coast.
Ocean City weathered the stom fairly well considering the "Frankenstorm" reputation that Hurricane Sandy developed into, thanks in part to our extensive dune system which protects our valuable real estate. Volunteer Beach restoration and community clean-up has also helped to restore Ocean City almost to its pre-hurricane status. Some beach errosion and wind dammage still remains, but considering the potential distructive nature that this storm embodied, Ocean City quite strongly held its own.

Ocean City MD Real Estate Pic of the Day 10-18-12!
Today we are having a beautiful morning here in Ocean City with sunny skies and temps going up into the low 70's. Expect developing clouds with the chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. Winds are out of the South East making for choppy surf conditions.
This weekend looks good with temps in the upper 60's and sunny conditions. If you are in town be sure to check out O.C.Toberfest with kids games and a corn maze on the beach located at South Dvision St.

Fall is well underway here in Ocean City, and so is the countdown to this weekend's exciting seasonal events!
This year's 20th anniversary Seaside 10 will be held this Saturday, October 27th. The running event offers two different options: a 10 mile race as well as the 5k. Both races will begin at the inlet and feature a scenic course along the boardwalk and Coastal Highway. Participants are encouraged to wear "the most outrageous costumes" they can come up with! This is a great Halloween-themed event for the whole family to take part in and enjoy.
O.C.toberfest will also take place this coming weekend at North Division street and the Boardwalk. Featuring a Beach Maze and the Great Pumpkin Race, this event is totally free and full of family fun! Open 10 am to 6 pm daily, get lost in the pleasantly spooky and sandy beach maze full of zombies, witches, ghastly ghouls and more! If you're looking for a little healthy Halloween competition, join the Great Pumpkin Race at 2 pm on Saturday. Get creative and design your own pumpkin racecar to take on the competition in this free-to-enter race.
